OCAMPO’s:
Through Decades of Valuable Service
57
years of service to the customer and community has
earned Ocampo's the right to say: "Buy With
Confidence". Customers have come to rely on
Ocampo's for award winning design, certified
gemologists, courteous service and convenient
location. A true Filipino success story, Ocampo's
began in 1948 with the opening of small store in
Angeles, Pampanga and has steadily progressed to
the 1999 opening of an international office
serving North America.
The
Ocampo family had a vision: to provide their
communities with a socially responsible group of
companies serving the needs of their customers
with jewelry, appliances, realty and financing.
This mission to provide both excellence and
integrity fueled their success and led to the
establishment of additional outlets in Pampanga,
Baguio, La Union, Pangasinan, and
Metro Manila.
In
the 1970's, the drive to excellence prompted the
Ocampo family to seek international education in
the field of gemology. Evansuida Ocampo became the
first Filipina to graduate from the prestigious
Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in California, USA. All four of her daughters
followed in her footsteps and became certified
gemologists in order to provide Ocampo's customers
with reliable, internationally trained expertise
in the appraisal and selection of gems.
The
Ocampo attitude toward service is evidenced in
their commitment to provide high quality service
for the repair of jewelry and watches. "Plateros"
(goldsmiths) and "relojeros" (watch
technicians) are maintained in-house in order to
assure customers of the safety of their treasured
pieces and to provide fast, efficient service.
Here too international skills were added to the
traditional Filipino craftsman to expand the level
of knowledge and skill provided to customers for
both repair and the creative design of new pieces.
The
Ocampo family demonstrates its appreciation of its
customers every year through the Open House Sale
held during every Holy Week and Easter Season.
Items are sold at cost, as a token of thanksgiving
for loyal patronage.
